Understand your child’s development, calmly.
Pathik helps parents understand developmental patterns associated with autism and related developmental differences through evidence-based screening, optional clinician review, and progress tracking over time. Designed for toddlers aged 16–30 months.
Pathik gives you a screening, not a diagnosis: a calm, clear first step in understanding how your child is growing, and what to do next.
More than a one-time check: it flags what’s worth watching, guides your next step, and tracks how things change as your child grows.
How Pathik works
Pathik doesn’t replace your paediatrician. It helps you walk in with a clear, tracked picture of how your child is growing.
A clearer picture, not just a number.
Each screening gives one calm result on a simple low, medium, or high scale. Plotted over time, you see the direction your child is heading, not just a single moment.
A result is only the beginning.
If a screening highlights areas worth watching, Pathik helps you understand what they mean, what to do next, and where to find support, without alarm, labels, or confusion.
Every result has a foundation you can trust.
A screening is only as good as the method behind it, the people involved, and how carefully your family’s data is handled. Here’s how Pathik approaches all three.
Why we are building Pathik
Every parent knows the small worry that won’t go away. A child who isn’t pointing yet. Who doesn’t turn to their name. Who lit up at twelve months and then grew quieter. It arrives as a question you almost don’t want to say aloud:
Is something different about how my child is growing?
Too often the advice is “wait and watch.” But waiting costs the one thing that matters most in early childhood: time, the years when the brain changes most and support does the most good.
Specialists are few and far between, waitlists run for months, and good information is buried under fear and stigma. Many parents who sense something early have no honest, affordable first step at all. We built Pathik to be that step, one any parent can take quietly, wherever they live and whatever they earn.
We trust validated science, and don’t bend it.
Pathik uses a validated, internationally adopted screening tool exactly as it was designed, carrying proven science to families who could not otherwise reach it.
Screening is a beginning, not a verdict.
A screen is not a diagnosis; it only tells you whether a conversation with a professional is worth having. So every result is paired with a video review by real clinicians, a human being and a clear next step, not an algorithm’s label.
Technology should widen the door, not replace the doctor.
We use it to extend a few experts to many families, in many languages, never to make clinical judgments. The clinician stays in the loop, always.
We measure success not by how many people use Pathik, but by how many children receive timely support, and how many families find clarity and confidence on their journey.
The questions we get most.
No. Pathik is an app that does developmental screening, a calm, clinical first look at how your child is growing. A screening can show what’s typical, what’s worth watching, and what’s worth bringing to your paediatrician. A diagnosis is a separate, in-person clinical process.
There’s no fixed schedule to keep. Screening is most useful during the toddler window, and you can screen whenever you’d like a fresh read, or when your clinician suggests one.
Today Pathik is built for toddlers, roughly 16 to 30 months old. That’s the window where this kind of screening is most reliable.
If you add a short video, a qualified clinician trained in developmental paediatrics or child psychology reviews it. Your questionnaire is always scored against established developmental instruments to support that review. We list reviewer credentials and the instruments we anchor to in the Trust section, and we never name or picture individual doctors.
You are never left alone with a number. Every report, whatever it shows, ends with clear, plain-English next steps and a helpline you can call. For anything worth watching, we suggest what to do next, including when to consult a developmental paediatrician.
